Yesterday 4 of the 5 founding members of the UK Libertarian Party spoke in Trinity. Present were the Party Leader Patrick Vessey, Tim Carpenter (Head of Policy), Andrew Withers (Party Chairman) and Chris Mounsey (Communications Director). Mounsey blogs over at Devil’s Kitchen.

A few weeks ago, Falco wrote a piece outlining the basic principles of libertarianism. Apparently, these basic principles lead us to key libertarian conclusions, that:
You own yourself.
You have every right to your property.
Authoritarianism, Paternalism and the banning of things other than acts harmful to a third party will always decrease Liberty.
